Graham Appraisal Appraisal Reviews

As stated in an announcement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions are obligated to have effective, impartial real estate appraisal and evaluation programs," and that appraisers performing reviews should "have the familiarity and skillfulness to evaluate compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal rules and guidelines." Graham Appraisal provides appraisal review services that are impartial, efficient, professional and in accordance with the Federal Reserve's rules.

If you have questions regarding an appraisal, or if you're in the need of a real estate appraisal review, contact us today.

According to the Federal Reserve, appraisal reviews "have to verify whether the appraisal or evaluation is appropriate for the transaction, the uncertainty of the transaction, and whether the manner by which the collateral valuation is attained ensures independence and quality." Moreover, they "must show whether the appraisal or evaluation report is compatible with the letter of engagement, which describes the scope of the appraisal assignment." Last, The Federal Reserve states that "some banks reinforce routine reviews with post-funding evaluations of appraisal quality for a few of their high-liability or larger-value affairs as a channel to assist in identifying valuation complications."

In addition to coordinating our work to the forms and guidelines of our review clients, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are largely used for review services, and we'll formulate an appraisal review on any one of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. At Graham Appraisal, we're trained in all kinds of appraisal reviews, review procedures and the responsibilities of review appraisers.

Graham Appraisal understands what the greatest weaknesses are, particularly in our real estate market, as well as what represents a quality appraisal. The professionals at Graham Appraisal are also sufficiently experienced to admit that the competition in our market are skillful in doing a great job. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, or USPAP, govern appraisal reviews and appraisal reports, and you can rely on us to fairly evaluate appraisal reports performed by others. And those others could be examining our work, too!

In short, here at Graham Appraisal, you can rely on our truthful judgment, because we offer professional, objective, ethical appraisal review services for our clients. Contact Graham Appraisal regarding our qualifications, expertise and services offered.
